The many costs of war

Posted by Mickey Z on 03/25 at 03:16 AM
  1. Good morning Mickey. It should be obvious by now to anyone capable of knowing the difference between a Steinway and Frankenstien that the u.s. and all it’s degenerate politicians are the biggest terrorists on this planet.

Here in the u.s., we own and even defend the terrorism inflicted upon us by the deciders, makers of laws and who imprison us at their whim.

  2. That was a pretty cool post on posters. I appreciate this blog which gives excellent information on posters.

    All the best,

    Sebastian

  3. Hi Mickey, Joe, Marilyn, and all…

Good front page again. I wonder if it accurately includes the Black Budget and the money that goes to the killing/militaristic activities of the State Dept, NSA, CIA, etc… It seems to me that the State Dept is at least as dangerous as the Offence Dept.

  4. Giving the Nobel Peace Prize to Obama is like giving the Emily Post Manners award to Snooky.
(Joe, its OK if you don’t know who Snooky is.  I wish I didn’t.)

  5. Thinking about Tripoli reminded me of one of my very old poems.

    From the Halls of Montezuma
To the Bridge at No Gun Ri
    We fight the corporations’ battles
In the air on land and sea.

From the shores of Guantanamo Bay
    To the secret torture cell
    We’ll transform each quiet village
    Into an everlasting Hell.

We are the Planetary Death Squad
With bombs and guns for hire
    We have sworn our allegiance
    To this Fascist Empire.

(Dedicated to the memory of Gen. Smedley Butler, USMC.  At the time of his death, Gen. Butler was the most decorated Marine in the USMC.  Gen. Butler is the author of the anti-war classic, War is a Racket.)

  6. RMj 4 You’re right, I don’t know who snooky is. Unfortunately I have heard of Emily Post. Is she the lady that says you need 5 forks on the left side of your plate and 16 spoons on the right just to drink a cup of coffee?

Well, prosecute both snooky and emily.

  8. #5 RMJ great poem.

No idea who Emily Post or Snooky are. I know who Snoopy is… but as far as I know he’s not evil!

    #6 Joe, only 5 forks...we’re not animals!

  12. Yeah, I heard that Joe passed. It ain’t right. “Rainbow Pie” drops in the US next month.

Fittingly, here’s a sweet Chris Hedges video to keep the fires lit: http://tinyurl.com/6d6fb54

The first few minutes of audio are off, but the rest is OK.
