Good selection Mickey. Beautiful photo Zen, which says, consciousness, conscious of consciousness

The animation really sells the parable, MZ. Gotta check out the book, see if he writes about empire.
Speaking of wisdom, here’s Morris Berman on Joe Bageant: http://tinyurl.com/3tqljh3
Thanks, joe. It’s a neighbor’s pet and the weirdest place I’ve ever seen a cat. I’m glad I had my camera handy.

Zen, the commentary by Morris Berman on Joe Bageant was very good.
One thing I’m finding in small town, anywhere, I guess, so many people want to appease the authorities, want positive recognition from authorities and don’t feel any connectedness, any collective social consciousness with their fellow victims of authority. This certainly is depressing at least.
Dying for and dying from a very low self-esteem.

Good selection indeed, Mickey! And the photo is simply a joy to look at, Zen Prole.
Hello to you two, to Joe of Maine and to Michael from a very cold Daylesford (58F today, but it feels like 40F).
Joe Bageant was a guest at last year’s Melbourne Writers’ Festival and very impressive.
All best from down under,

So sad to read that Joe Bageant has died - at the age of 65. What a loss!

FYI: I just put up a new post. A musical interlude of sorts, if you will.
