A reminder (or three) of what we're up against

Good morning Mickey.  It is nice to come here to Mickey’s where everyone is nice.  I have been being beaten up by just one blogger on CD.  The ad hominem attacks come on a daily basis… especially since my book came out.  I know who this guy is. He has tried to get his articles up on various web sites where they were rejected so he now has his own site and nobody goes there. ...

    Thanks for the reference to Panama and the article.  Also the ‘it was worth it’ quote is important since that is the same thing Albright said about the 500,000 Iraqi children. (I did not know that Bush also said it. Mickey, you taught me something again.)

  3. RMJ-I think I need my very own website. I can envision a blank page titled ‘Blank Page’ with a donations feature and no explanation.

    I read a commentary this morning about politics maintaining a certain river as polluted to keep from upgrading its status so to continue polluting. What trash can are these politicians hatched from?

  4. These lessons are the gateway out of brainwash. Who could read these and not grasp their meaning? On second thought, don’t answer that.

    RMJ, CD is a boutique operation that lost its teeth almost a decade ago. It’s not as bad as DU, but it’s not worth losing sleep or patience.

  5. What is CD and DU?

    The people of Brunswick, Maine frequently boast about their schools. I don’t know why. I asked the question, if our schools are so great, why do we have such an insane society with all its violence, why do we destroy ourselves. I really don’t understand what these people are talking about.

  11. joe, they are Common Dreams and Democratic Underground. If you want to find out how politically lost liberals can be, read a few comment threads on DU. They regularly censor people who don’t toe the party line, and a common question there is “How can we weed out disagreement and not be accused of censorship?”
