Some 9/11 Truth: We've created a society of suicide bombers
-
It pains me to see the media reporting and ‘authority’ acting on an ‘unconfirmed but credible threat’ of a car-bomb attack in New York and Washington...stepping up radiation monitoring and other types of ‘security’ measures while the very undeniably real situation of Fukushima and the structural concerns of other nuclear facilities are glibly swept under the carpet.
Its like those incessant tv ads for anti-depressants that claim if a person takes their pills they will be able to ‘live a normal life’ but may suffer from a host of other physical ‘side effects’. Of course thats just what happens when we deal with the symptom and not the root cause of the problems...things tend to go from bad to worse.
You hit the nail on the head with this one Mickey.Posted by Frances from coastal bc on 09/09 at 09:30 AM -
Frances...Welcome home.
Great photo of Zen and Sub…
Mickey that is a beautiful article. It made me think about how the USA educational system from K on all the way up propagandizes. “Let’s roll” and either fix it (impossible) or replace it.
Joe...do you believe that the power outage out west was caused by the way they are explaining it? My tech guy, who is very smart, has been saying for years that a weird natural phenomena would cause massive blackouts in the near future???

Great article. I love me some George Carlin, but that is the one sketch of his (about how “saving” the planet doesn’t matter) that I can’t stand and thoroughly disagree with. He’s playing a semantics game and nobody seems to grasp that. You’re right on the money, Mickey.

Hi Charles…
About education and 9/11…
US government schools never taught the taboo truths. In the 1950s kids didn’t learn about what the original explorers did, how the Native Americans were treated, about lynching that was still going on, about CIA operations in Central America, etc. After having taught, on and off since 1956, I now believe that the public education system does more harm than good. That’s why so many are eager to enlist when they graduate from high school. Anyone who attends schools here has to spend many years unlearning what was taught.Very few, if any, schools will ever teach that 9/11 was Blowback for, among other things, the 500,000 Iraqi children’s deaths caused by the USA. Most teachers don’t ‘get it’ and are themselves victims of the system that helped them overcome moral scruples against killing.

Some people will cry tomorrow..., in many places on this planet, people cry everyday.
Miserable lives without tears will be replaced by an ‘official’ day of mourning. FEEL..., while the deciders chuckle.
If you don’t cry on the 11th, you may face a fine of $50,000 dollars or 5 years in prison or both.
If you don’t shed tears, you must be ‘one of them’. Good christians have the right to steal, poison, slaughter. How dare the victims object. Cry for the abusive authorities.
Demand more lies for one moment of independent thought is too much, too horrifying, must awaken dormant brain areas.
Hello everyone, good commentary Mickey. RMJ, I don’t know what started the fires. Perhaps white man stupidity. I haven’t read about fires. I’m dealing with the inferno of my mind.
It seems the Mysterious Stranger, by Mark Twain would be a good read for many people this weekend. I guess there are many good reads in place of the soap opera headlines.
The local newspaper, desperate to say something, features so much of this 11th day nonsense..., the authorities must be chuckling. What happened on September eleventh, 500 years ago, 400, 300? We still deny them.

Good mornin’ Joe and all…
A good day to remember Ward Churchill’s quote: “When you kill 500,000 children to impose your will on other countries, then you shouldn’t be surprised when somebody responds in kind.”

To my way of seeing things the industrial growth society is the suicide bomber...profiting without regard for the consequences of their actions, using mother Earth as a supply house and sewer. Forcing whole countries to adopt practices and policies that everybody knows are detrimental to a healthy vibrant future. Economic growth has become more important than people, more important than land, more important than a healthy future. Its madness....a sickness of heart and mind propagated by corporate gangsters G7 G8 G20 IMF WTO.
Action, the creation of structural alternatives, and shifting conciousness back to our life affirming values. For me that looks like recycling , composting, shopping in small local stores, buying second-hand, using public transit and walking, developing friendly relations with my neighbors, appreciating nature...its not big scale activism but its my contribution. Its what I can do and its helping to lift the despair and dissolve the inner-paralysis that I sometimes experience when I look out at the world that I am a part of.
Anyway good morning all and thanks, Mickey, for this space to share.Posted by Frances from coastal bc on 09/10 at 10:50 AM -
Bestial Invader update..., just received an email, the drone industry has come up with newer ideas and for more drones. Perhaps ‘they’ will fly a large drone into a dumpster in Chicago and blame it on the Eskimos.

Drones in the Valley Cage the Elephant
http://tinyurl.com/6xgvqyrWhile bullets shower the earth
We turn our heads and cover our faces
Now flames devour the sky
And i hear these words in the back of my MindChorus:
Here we stand at this fork in the road
We got no time to waste
Oh which way shall we go?
This old world’s spinning out of control
Oh which way shall we go?
Which way shall we go?
I can’t believe this, it makes me sickFresh smell of death on your tongue
You bait the hook and here come the children
Another grave stone to sell
While you get rich in the valley of hell(Chorus)
The devil’s creeping
He’s got us eating from his dirty hands
We feast on lies
Which makes it hard for us to make a stand
Out in the desert
there’s a forest full of fallen trees
It’s what they want
but it’s not what we needScreaming at the ceiling
doesn’t make it better
Slipped into a coma
lost my favorite sweater
Ask them no more questions
you’ll never catch them lying
it’s time to make our move
and strike them right between the eyesapologies for the double post.

No argument with the diagnosis of ‘suicide bomber society,’ except to ask if it’s not our entire species. This may be the fate of any critter that evades limiting factors until it’s too late.
Carlin’s take on planetary limits is different than, say, a George Will. Carlin recognizes what’s wrong and issues a blistering comeback. Will has dismissed the problem and doesn’t care if Earth becomes a lifeless rock in space.
Those two in the photo definitely look unpatriotic...maybe even French. I’m gonna call Fatherland Security before it’s too late. (Srsly, had a great time.)

In case anyone needs more reasons to be outraged, and this is hard to imagine, dog fighting rings have been discovered in Pennsylvania and Maine just recently.
A degenerate society cannot foster anything wholesome..., not even close !
